Dance at Three Pools
We are hosting a super fun dancing focused event here on the farm this June. Read all about Dancing Body here:

Dancing Body is an event to be held on 5-8th of June 2025 on Three Pools farm, Abergavenny. The ethos aims to take people away from a usual cultural concept of a music event/ festival towards a more ‘embodied’ gathering. We like the British ‘club culture’ but we also like the slow and mindful pace of a ‘retreat’ setting - so we birthed Dancing Body that aims to capture the best of both worlds. We’ll journey through different dance genres and environments, allowing the body to explore new moves while the mind slowly quietens. We’ll meet ourselves more deeply, one beat at a time. For the ultimate flow, our schedule will include five classes, four workshops, and two club nights to allow for a total dancefloor rebirth! Dancing Body will bring some of the UK leading dance teachers from both traditional and contemporary dance styles to hold workshops in the day and open the evening barn club to allow for that rave buzz! Please see ‘about’ page on our website for the full story - http://www.thedancingbody.com & http://www.instagram.com/dancingbody
Flow of the weekend:
The classes: salsa/zouk, forrò, swing, dancehall/afrobeats, and voguing
The workshops: contact improvisation, 5 rhythms, ecstatic dance & a surprise movement practice
The club sessions: Friday eve & Saturday eve are reserved for nothing less than a full blown discotheque soirée with djs and live sets.
Other offerings: There will be two open mic discussions held on Friday and Saturday at lunchtime. We’ll explore how and why dance is so innate to human nature and how it benefits our physical and mental health. Massages will be available on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday—slots can be booked upon arrival. A sauna will be available (info TBC) alongside a natural swimming pool for cold plunges.
This event is for everyone. Each class/workshop is beginner level. There will be multiple classes a day but only one workshop per day.
The farm will offer three reasonably priced meals a day. The farm café will be open daily, serving tea, coffee, cacao, kombucha & more. A bar with local beer and carefully selected natural wines will be open from 7 PM onwards. This event is not alcohol-free for a reason. We do not impose bans or restrictions, but we encourage participants to respect the teachers and their sessions by refraining from alcohol until the final workshop of the day has finished.
Tickets:
Early bird tickets from £140
Thank you for sharing, Three Pools ♥️ any questions we’re here to answer!
This event sounds fantastic. I have a question, with regards to the second to last paragraph, which states, 'This event is for everyone. Each class/workshop is beginner level'.... Do you mean that the classes will cater for beginners and experienced dancers or just beginners?
